“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”~ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Ever know the kind of guy that can watch a film and just pick it apart with finding and spotting inaccuracies throughout the whole thing?

To some degree it can get annoying. Especially if the film that you are watching has never been seen before and there’s someone in the room just talking throughout the entire thing talking about this mistake or that mistake.

On the other hand, it can be an interesting “talent” for lack of a better term. The ability to spot something that others just don’t see no matter how many times they watch.

YouTube has a channel that has been around who does just that, called CinemaSins. They count every little inaccuracy or blown story plot or point out something that doesn’t make sense. And I have been watching their videos for a short time now.  My personal thought is that it is done to be funny and entertaining.

Then you have your vloggers, who do daily vlogs. And just in case you haven’t been on YouTube or have been hiding under a rock lately, there’s a person by the name of Matthew Santoro from Canada who has been practically everywhere via the Internet. His YouTube channel has exploded with people subscribing to watch his videos. One in particular that he puts out a new Top Ten list of interesting facts every Saturday. It has gone skyrocketing into space with 2,755,083 people subscribing……….. and counting. His secondary channel is where he posts his daily vlogs and that channel has 320,535 people subscribing… and that too, is still going.

He’s just become suddenly popular with people and good for him for being so successful at what he does!

Then CinemaSins recently asked him to do some voice over work as a guest narrator for one of their videos in which they were going to count the mistakes and errors pointed out in a particular film.

This is the video:

ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!!! And Pandora’s Box wasn’t just opened but smashed to pieces.

Go ahead, go take a look. Read all the filth in the comments.

Here is the thing:

I have followed both Matthew Santoro’s two channels and CinemaSins for a while.

From time to time I have strongly disagreed with Matthew Santoro’s comments or opinions or whatever there is. And that’s fine. However I just DON’T sit there and go way out of my way to say that in the comment section of his YouTube videos. He says something, I disagree, whatever… everyone moves on to live another day.

You don’t have to LIKE the way the video is, that’s your right and YOUR opinion.

If you HAVE to go out of your way to express your dissatisfied or unpopular or disagreeing opinion, there’s something wrong with you. Something TERRIBLY TERRIBLY wrong with you!

Some people just chug down the Haterade. Some people are just trolls. We all have our different opinions and some way we are just going to have to find a way to live with that. But damn, Matthew was invited to do something and yeah I know … its “different” but that doesn’t mean its bad. Just means that its different. The poor guy didn’t really do or say anything to deserve the reaction in the comment section.

Damn. Just another day to remind me how much the world can stink.

gun-hidden-waistband-300I have a love interest in every one of my films: a gun.” ~ Arnold Schwarzenegger

Let me tell you a little story about a small Pub & Grill in South Carolina.

The establishment or at least the owner made a decision to not allow concealed weapons inside. So the owner created one hell of a sign for his business and promptly displayed it in the window.

You may read about it right here:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/18/sc-pub-sparks-outrage-sign-calling-gun-owners-lose/

Now I do understand that this is still a hot issue to discuss but I don’t think that it matters what side you are on about guns and gun control and whatever. The fact remains that the sign calls those people who wish to carry a concealed weapon a loser…. as well as a douchebag.

Uh oh… I smell trouble. He done gone and did it. And pissed off a majority of those who own guns and who decide that carrying a concealed weapon is their Second Amendment right according to the United States Constitution. And basically his First Amendment rights of expressing how he feels on the topic went out the window right after he started calling certain groups of people names. Had he not called them a loser and a douchebag, then this wouldn’t be getting as much attention as it is.

So as you can see, people are extremely pissed off. And I think it has more to do with the public display of insulting name calling rather than the Second Amendment issue of whether or not to carry. After all, it is his choice of whether or not he wants concealed weapons inside of his pub. But there are proper and more official signs that this owner can get hands on instead of being this passive-aggressive person.

Yelp is flooded with unhelpful comments and negative reviews. This business is probably going to go down in flames pretty fast, if the owner doesn’t either change the signs to a more official sign or publicly apologize for their actions.

People on the Internet are deeply, deeply cruel. These people will not relent I am sure.

Let this be a lesson to everyone out there who runs or owns a business. Adding insults and name calling will only cause you more anguish and hardship. Its just not worth pissing off your future customers. Because its the general public that you are pissing off and its the general public that will decide whether or not they want to go spend their money at your place.

This guy is probably going to go down with the ship.   If it survives, then it survives based on the business given by people who share the same opinion and viewpoints about guns.

But still, what a pity when the mouth opens and crap flies out!!

“Don’t spend so much time analyzing me and my life. Worry about your own, that is obviously where the real issues lie.”~ Brittany Marcum

So now here’s a listen for all of you boys and girls out there.

On my back home from SXSW Festival today, we were traveling through the area of the University of Texas and I spotted this jogging female seen here in this photograph.

She was pretty much hauling ass! I mean she was really going. And I couldn’t help but note how very little she was wearing. Being that in the area of town that she was in and the time of day and all of these factors where these safety people tell you NOT to do, she’s breaking down each and every rule. The only one she didn’t break was don’t jog after dark.

Without a thing on her body in the clothing department of life, I took this photograph to share with someone that I was conversing with via text messages.

A different bus passenger noticed that I took the photograph and immediately began to harp and shout and call me names… telling me that I was dirty, perverted, and a pig.

Well, I could see how she could come up with that mistake. But that’s exactly what she made- a mistake.

It was because of that fact that I originally ignored her.

I slipped on my earphones and blasted SIX MINUTE CENTURY’s newest album into my ears. But the woman on the bus continued on and kept calling me names. It got to the point where she would get up from her seat just to tap me on the body to get my attention. And it was the tapping that pushed me over the edge.

Her insults and vulgarity continued. And I just attempted to stay in the conversation that I was having via text message because you know, I’m funny…. and this woman would keep telling me to “STOP IT! STOP IT!” because she assumed that I took the photograph of the female jogger and was sending it to my guy buddies to oggle her body.

And that was wrong of her too.

Finally when she went through her streams of yelling “STOP IT!” the bus driver looked up to observe the situation as to why one of his passengers was getting unruly and loud. He then continued to drive.

And at long last I opened my mouth when she kept yelling “STOP IT!” and I went in the for the kill by insulting her and her grandparents.

Everyone and anyone and their dog can go after someone’s momma. But nobody really thinks about doing it with shaming the grandparents.

I nailed her grandpa first and she sat there with her jaw hitting the floor. Then I attacked her grandma and that’s when she stood up to do something about it.

Yeah, you don’t need to tell me that what I had said was wrong. I got that part. It was intended to piss her off and it worked. Game over for  Dambreaker.

She stood up in the aisle and the bus driver noticed it again and about the same time the bus driver applied the brakes to slow down, this woman took a swing at me to punch me. But the bus losing steam and momentum caused her to trip, stumble, fall, and lose her entire balance to where she swung at me but missed. Then her body went with the flow and landed on someone who was sitting there peacefully and taking a cat nap.

The bus driver had seen enough.

He told the woman to get off the bus and of course she had to argue her case that she didn’t do anything. But these bus drivers, especially now that they are dealing with patrons from all over the world here for SXSW Festival… they are taking no crap from any one.

He removed her and I learned how to get rid of annoying people who are bugging you on the bus.

People need to re-learn how to mind their own business.

“The psychology of a language which, in one way or another, is imposed upon one because of factors beyond one’s control, is very different from the psychology of a language which one accepts of one’s free will.”~ Edward Sapir

The other afternoon I was taking a bit of a nap. It didn’t last long as I heard someone knocking on the door. So when I got up to answer the door, a very tall man (probably about 6’4″/ 193 cm) began to introduce himself as well as intimidate with his size to push me back away from the door and find his way inside of my home.

He sat down and introduced himself as a psychologist and wanted to come by and say “hello” and allow himself to be used at my disposal for my needs. I stared at him blankly for a moment, trying to figure out how he got inside so fast and then just made himself at home like he did.

Then he mentioned that “a neighbor” was concerned about me, considering the pain and suffering I had this past January from doing what I had to do when I was assaulted. Allegedly, this neighbor was concerned about my mental health and safety and gave him a call to come by.

Well, as much as I appreciated the idea that the neighbor was thinking about me this really wasn’t anything that I had in mind on how to deal with the traumatic situation that I had gone through. Yes, perhaps a psychologist. But not one that just walks through my door and sits down and starts asking me a bunch of questions. And trust me, this gets worse and it shouldn’t have.

So I gave him all of the gruesome details about the assault. The way I had protected myself, the death, and what had happened. As I was talking about it, he began to sit on the edge of the couch as if he was watching some intense moment on television.

When I had finished he sat back and exhaled. He shook his head and with plenty of profanity, he expressed how rotten that this had happened to me and that people suck… really, really SUCK.

He said something along the lines of he was glad it was just the one time. But I informed him that I have been no stranger to assault in this area in the past few years. People wanting my wallet or whatever I had.

He was shocked to hear that there was a lot more to my past with crime than just the one time. He began to laugh and laugh and laugh. More profanity as he exclaimed with his excitement. At some point, he had to stop me from going through everything. And then his reaction and comment was totally and completely insulting in my humble opinion.

He looked me in the face and said, “Man! You are a really big shit magnet!!”. And then he continued to laugh and laugh.

Umm…

I understand that it is so wild that I have been targeted many times for people who were willing to commit criminal activities and intrude upon me, but to insult me like that was totally unprofessional, uncalled for, and rude.

So then he said that I should call him in a few weeks and he will come out again and we will come back and talk to me. This guy apparently does visits in people’s homes. And I think that could work to other people’s advantage that he would come to them. I just do not understand how he keeps his job by behaving like he does. Especially how he behaved in front of me. Almost like he was having a great time hearing the stories that I was telling him. Stories of crime and of course, pain.

What really sticks out in my mind, is the laughing. And the swearing in his thoughts that some how I am some kind of person that attracts these bad things that has happened to me in the past few years. Almost to say that it is all MY fault.

And he says he wants to help me through the process of dealing with it. Now, I am not quite sure on how he is going to do that when I am feeling smaller and smaller as he laughs at me.

Clearly this is not the best guy for the job. Not if I am going to be feeling little about things. Isn’t he supposed to empower me instead? And clearly I have a neighbor out there somewhere, of course I was not told who it was, but whomever it was: Thank you for the thought, but mind your own business!!
